Our good friends Karla and Collin got baptized a few weeks ago. Karla is Puerto Rican and speaks spanish fluently. I never realized that you could speak spanish and NOT be mexican! So that is the running joke between us! Anything she does I reply, "Oh because you're Mexican!" David had the privilege of baptizing them and did her prayer in Spanish. Later that day the kids were talking amongst themselves and I heard Mac say to Tia, "I did NOT know that dad could speak MEXICAN." Toby got super defensive and with a gruff said, "That wasn't Mexican that was JAPANESE dummy!"

My new favorite thing to do while I fold laundry is watch HGTV. It is something my kids can watch and surprisingly are more interested than I thought they would be. There was a mound of laundry sitting infront of me when Tia walked in and said, "MOM!!! Can we watch House G DV?" I just busted up laughing because I knew exactly what she was talking about!
